Renting a car is ideal if you want to travel in Monza in addition to the F1 race or stay longer in Milan. There are rental offices at all airports and the city centre at the main train hubs of Milano Centrale and Porta Garibaldi.

You can choose from established rental companies such as Hertz, Europcar and others, or use smaller local rental companies with better prices such as Nolleggiare, Drivalia or Greenmotion.

Especially in the centre of Milan, beware that smaller local rental companies keep their cars parked in underground garages relatively far from the office. The advantage, on the other hand, is very reasonable prices. The daily rental fee for a small car can be in the lower tens of euros. Another thing is that this is Italy, and there is no shortage of scratches, so always consider insurance!

Generally, you'll find better prices at airports than in Milan city centre. It's better to book your car in advance; last-minute prices can be several times higher!
